One page per practice area.
Only for matters you take, written the way you explain them to a client.
A law firm page has to name the practice and the place the firm actually serves. A generic “lawyer” page rarely does either job. Local SEO starts at $500/month. Content SEO starts at $750/month.
People search for a lawyer when something has gone wrong. They type the matter and the place: "divorce solicitor Leeds", "car accident lawyer Chicago". Then they read reviews and call two or three firms.
That's why practice-area pages and the Google Business Profile matter more than a busy blog. A page should say who handles the matter, where, how the first call works and roughly what it costs.
Legal search is also crowded with directories and lead-generation sites. A small firm rarely outranks them for the broad term. It can win the specific matter in its own town, and the Map Pack.
Only for matters you take, written the way you explain them to a client.
Names, admissions and offices that match the profile and the directories.
Categories, office details and reviews that agree across Google, Avvo, Law Society or bar directories.
Advertising rules for lawyers vary. In the US they're set by each state bar. In England and Wales the SRA sets them. I don't know your jurisdiction's rules better than you do, so your firm has final approval on every page.
I don't write "best lawyer", "guaranteed result" or "specialist" claims you can't use. Replies to reviews never confirm that the reviewer was a client.
Nothing goes live without sign-off from a lawyer at the firm.
Short, polite, and no client details. Ever.
No virtual offices to rank in towns you don't serve.
Fix categories, office details and lawyer names across Google and the main legal directories.
Rewrite the pages for the matters you most want. Add the first-call process and fees where you can publish them.
Set up review requests. Start tracking calls and form inquiries by practice area.
